Anna Emelyanova (1985, Moskou) begon haar studie op zeer jonge leeftijd aan het beroemde Gnessin State Musical College in Moskou. Ze behaalde haar Bachelor Degree aan de Russian Academy of Music en behaalde kwalificaties op het gebied van Concert en Opera Performance, Chamber Ensemble Artist en Vocal docent.
Naast klassieke muziek schreef ze muziek voor een circus, werkte ze in muziekstudio's als gastartiest en trad ze op met verschillende bands. Ze was echter vastbesloten om operazangeres te worden en studeerde in 2015 Cum Laude af - Master Solo- en Operazang- aan het Conservatorium in Maastricht. Na haar studie werd Anna uitgenodigd om te zingen bij Opera Zuid.
In 2019 debuteerde Anna als operazangeres bij de Nederlandse reisopera in de pocketeditie van Tsjajkovski's Jevgeni Oneginvan. In 2023 keert ze weer terug naar deze productie. De zangeres geeft ook solorecitals met verschillende programma's en optredens op klassieke muziekfestivals. Ze zingt oratoria, geeft les in zang en piano en zingt als gastartiest in verschillende projecten, waaronder ook pop- en rockmuziek.

Anna Emelyanova began her studies at a very young age at the famous Gnessin State Musical College in her native Moscow. At first she trained as a pianist at primary school level but later switched to singing. Anna gained her Bachelor Degree at the Russian Academy of Music and achieved qualifications in the fields of Concert and Opera Performance, Chamber Ensemble Artist and Vocal teacher. The young singer performed several opera parts in the Academy’s Opera Studio.
Apart from be involved in classical music, she wrote music for a circus, worked at music studios as a guest artist and performed with different bands. But her mind was set on becoming an opera singer and in 2012 Anna came to the Netherlands to continue her studies with professor Axel Everaert at the Conservatory in Maastricht where in 2015 she successfully finished a Master’s Programme in Solo and Opera singing with a Cum Laude degree. During this period Anna won a scholarship to participate in a high-level young artist’s program, the Mediterranean Opera Studio in Italy.
After her studies Anna was invited to sing for Opera Zuid. For the company she has by now performed quite a number of roles: Clorinda in La Cenerentola (Rossini), Gilda in Rigoletto (Verdi), Musetta in La bohème (Puccini), Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Sophie in Werther(Massenet), Princess Elsbeth in Offenbachs Fantasio.
Currently Anna is preparing the role of Juliette from opera Romeo and Juliette by C.Gounod, which she will present in a several theatres of the Netherlands. Please check Agenda form more information.
In 2019 Anna had her debut with role of Tatjana which she performed in a pocket edition of Tsjajkovski’s Jevgeni Onegin, for the Nederlandse Reisopera. In 2023 she will back to this production again.
Anna Emelyanova also gives solo recitals with different programs and performances on classical music festivals. She sings oratorios, teaches singing and piano and still works as a guest artist in different projects, including pop and rock music. In 2017 she made a musical program in Bangladesh at the invitation of a local tv station.
